Frugal Racing, aptly named for their reputation of spending as little as possible, is made up of three regular drivers; Jim McDougall, Callum McDougall and Mike Marais.
Keen to compete as close to the sharp end as possible, the trio each bring their own strengths to the team.
Based in Kent, Frugal Racing hopes to improve upon it's highly successful 2019 campaign, scoring two pole positions followed up by race wins at Oulton Park and Brands Hatch Indy for Ford Power Live, and a strong showing at the Indy 500, finishing just off the podium in 4th.
Back for the second year, Peak Performance Reviews are inviting some of the same drivers back, along with some news ones for 2020.
Team owner, Alex De-Moore has raced with Track Attack Race Club in 2017 & 2018, a sprint series with a Honda Civic EP3 Type R, but made the move to EnduroKA last year. Alex also runs a YouTube and Facebook/Instagram channel, called Peak Performance Reviews and most of the KA races and build of our car is shown here, as well as new car reviews.
So far, our driver lineup for 2020 includes: Alex De-Moore, Charles Boniface, Lewis Kent, Petrol Ped and Francois Herne.
After narrowly missing the top spot on the podium in 2019, the PistonHeads Racing Team will be returning for the second year of EnduroKA hunting its first race win.
Positive Motorsport is the racing arm of Powerbell Garage an independent Jaguar specialist, situated in Taplow, on the border of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Run by owners Graham Allen and Colin Philpott, they have been looking after all Jaguar models for over 45 years. The two owners are joined this year by Martin Carpenter and Neal Blakes. Colin's,Graham's and Neal's collective 1st steps at Circuit Racing, started with the inaugural MSV Track Day trophy races, followed by Tin tops and Jaguar racing. Graham and Colin continued racing while Neal taking a few years off to start a family until getting back into racing last year. Martins 1st season of racing was with the EnduroKa series in 2019 and he's made rapid progress and got up to speed in a short time. We are all looking forward to getting back together for our second year in the series, with many a lesson learnt and some guest drivers joining us during the year
A group of guys who work in different industries but share a love of cars. Le Mans trips fuelled the desire to do some endurance racing.
After being crowned 2019 TDC Champions in our Ibiza 1.9 TDI, we have moved on to our Mk5 Golf 2.0 TDI to hopefully retain the title for 2020 in the TDC, as well as sponsoring the MSV SuperCup and competing in that as well as the TDT!
We are VAG and BMW Diesel Specialists, working on road, track, race and drag cars, doing anything from normal servicing work to custom dyno tuning, fabrication and preparation.
The EnduroKA is just a bit of fun for us, racing with our friends on a level playing field, and without breaking the bank!
TTL Racing comprise of 3 team mate. Tobi Spooner-Green, Tom Shipperlee and Lee Hemmings. As a team we have raced karts together and against each other for upwards of 8 years. The main focus of our previous racing is at RHPK (Rye House Pro Karting Championship) Where Tobi and Lee finished 2nd in the Super Pro category in 2018. Tom raced with Artifex Racing on won the Clubman Championship the same year.
We have also raced together on a couple of occasions at the Le Mans 24hr.
Windgat Racing will running a car as a second car to the Frugal Racing Ka for both new and old drivers.
