Round Four Preview

24 July 2023

After a memorable trip to Donington Park earlier this month, attention has quickly shifted East to Snetterton for EnduroKA’s longest race of the 2023 season – the ’12 Heures Du Norfolk’.

EnduroKA teams will need the perfect combination of strong, consistent pace and cunning strategy to finish on the podium at Snetterton, as both man and machine will be tested over the course of the twelve hours. The 200 circuit configuration offers long straights for competitors to unleash full power and mastermind overtakes, while both driver and mechanical handling will be challenged through the fast flowing bends Brundle and Nelson. The lap ends in thrilling fashion. The combination of Coram into Murray’s is tough to master, but a tremendous experience nonetheless. There’s plenty of time to be gained (or lost!) through the complex and drivers will experience this first hand on race day. It has all the ingredients to be an epic!

The appeal of Snetterton has made the circuit renowned within UK motorsport and sees the circuit host a variety of prestigious events on both two and four wheels. British Touring Car, British Superbikes and British GT Championship, for example, all enjoy a Norfolk fixture each year.

The current lap record for the 200 circuit is: 1:06.572, set by Chris Dittmann in 2017.

The competitiveness of EnduroKA in 2023 has been clear for all to see. A large variety of teams have headed the field in the opening three races, culminating in three different race winners! Windgat Racing took the honours of the top step at Donington Park last time out and you can find out how the #3 KA became the third different victor with our comprehensive race report here.

Donington Park also produced the third different Dagenham Dustbin winner of 2023, with Wolf Motorsport winning the coveted trophy for their Silk Cut livery. Given the plethora of creative designs being displayed throughout the field, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a fourth different Dagenham Dustbin winner in just the fourth race.

Let’s start the second half of the 2023 season in style!
