Round 6 Preview

04 October 2023

Drivers, start your KAs!

That’s right, it’s almost time for the 2023 Brands Hatch Indy, KA 500 and the final round of what has been a cracking season of racing. From starting the year in style on a circuit new to the series, Silverstone, to the most recent round at Oulton Park and everything in between, the racing in EnduroKA has been as fun and competitive as ever this year – and the upcoming Indy KA 500 will surely serve as the perfect last hurrah.

EnduroKA’s traditional season finale is a hotbed for thrilling on track action, promising great excitement for everyone in attendance. Expect a packed grid of Mk1 Ford KAs battling into the night on the iconic Brands Hatch Indy circuit, all for the honour of becoming an EnduroKA Brands Hatch Indy, KA 500 podium finisher. With Dagenham Dustbins, milk bottles and trophies on the line, teams will undoubtedly be giving it their all for the final time in 2023.

On their way to victory last year IP Racing completed a staggering 415 laps of the Kent circuit, putting in a vintage display enroute to the top step. Whichever team wants the glory this year will need to display the ultimate combination of strong, consistent pace and perfect race strategy. Given how competitive the series has been again this season, it’ll be truly fascinating to see which drivers end up on the podium places.

EnduroKA has been that competitive in 2023 that it took us until the penultimate round of the year to get our first repeat winners, in the form of PRO-AM Racing. The #12 KA is set to be back in action at the season finale on October 29. Can they again repeat their success and make it a third win of the year? Or will a fifth different team follow the likes of PRO-AM Racing, SuKAru Racing, MilnAir Racing and Windgat Racing and etch their names into the history books as EnduroKA race winners in 2023.

Recap all of the action from Oulton Park last time out with our race report here.

Additionally, you can expect the battle for the final Dagenham Dustbin of the year to be just as hotly-contested as the on track action. It’s the last chance for competitors to secure the prestigious award, given to the best-presented KA (as determined by the marshals), so we’re sure every team will be turning up with their creative liveries looking spick and span to capture the attention of all those in attendance.

For one final time in 2023, let’s go racing.
