Recapping on EnduroKA's first race in North Yorkshire!

22 October 2025

Croft welcomed EnduroKA for the first time on Sunday 19 October, for the penultimate round of the series’ 2025 season.

MilnAir Racing secured the victory courtesy of a strong performance from drivers: Jack Wright, Jonny Milner and Dylan Brytcha. KaHoona’s Race Team and PRO-AM Racing #8 completed the inaugural EnduroKA Croft podium, finishing second and third respectively.

Qualifying

Boston Racing’s Eduardo Correria and Ka Lamaty’s Adam Bonham appeared to be the quickest two drivers out of the blocks. The pair traded fastest laps, with the entire field keen to make their mark on the timing screen.

Bonham seemed to hold the advantage, with a benchmark of 1m52.193s good enough for provisional pole. However, back-to-back personal best laps for Dylan Brytcha propelled MilnAir Racing to the top of the order. The #46 KA would then keep their top spot for the remainder of the session, with Brytcha’s teammate Jack Wright ultimately setting an unbeaten time of 1m51.713s.

Early pacesetters Ka Lamaty would complete the front row, edging GM Performance by 0.071s. Boston Racing finished the session fourth, narrowly quicker than Burton Power Racing and KaHoona’s Race Team. Shine Automotive, PRO-AM Racing #8, Autotech Motorsport #65 and NJM Racing rounded out the top ten qualifiers.

Race

An excellent opening lap earned the race lead for Ka Lamty. MilnAir Racing dropped to second but were in hot pursuit of the leading #121 KA, while a brilliant start had launched KaHoona’s Race Team into third position. Shine Automotive had enjoyed an encouraging start to the race, as had Original Chequers Racing.

Through the fifth lap MilnAir Racing managed to retake the lead, but Ka Lamaty remained right on the tail of the new leader. KaHoona’s Race Team were keeping the two in front honest, ahead of GM Performance and Boston Racing.

An incredible battle between MilnAir Racing and Ka Lamaty then dominated the next hour of racing and almost nothing could separate the two. Ka Lamaty continued to press and apply maximum pressure, but without success, as MilnAir Racing continued to lead heading past the hour mark.

As the weather worsened through the second hour, Ka Lamaty’s Adam Bonham excelled, taking the race lead and building a gap to the MilnAir Racing KA behind. KaHoona’s Race Team were continuing to keep the first two honest, while Boston Racing remained fourth. A tremendous beginning to the race saw KAmotion run in fifth, having started the race P18.

By the time the race had surpassed the halfway point, MilnAir Racing had retaken the lead. Pit stop strategy was becoming increasingly important and there was clearly a wide range of tactics at play. The varying strategies ensured there continued to be plenty of action on track for spectators to enjoy, with teams such as NJM Racing profiting from shrewd stops.

For the remainder of the race, MilnAir Racing, KaHoona’s Race Team and Ka Lamaty continued to look sharp and lap well. The consistent pace of PRO-AM Racing had ensured the #8 KA was in contention for the podium, as was the case for GM Performance. Varano Esports were running nine places higher than they qualified, while PRO-AM Racing’s sister #12 KA was now in the top ten.

Ultimately, it was MilnAir Racing who claimed the first-ever EnduroKA win at Croft after a fantastic effort from drivers Jack Wright, Dylan Brytcha and Jonny Milner. Congratulations to each of the three, as well as the wider team!

KaHoona’s Race Team’s line-up of Ian Perkins, Philip Truman and Kosta Kyritis secured the runners-up trophies after a solid 125 laps of the North Yorkshire circuit, displaying strong pace throughout. PRO-AM Racing #8 claimed the final spot on the podium, courtesy of good pace on track and clever pit strategy.

GM Performance would narrowly miss out on the podium by 12.688s, finishing one spot ahead of NJM Racing. In a incredibly tight finish, NJM Racing managed to defend fifth by just 0.569s over KAmotion and a further 0.030s ahead of Burton Power Racing.

AFK Racing, Autotech Motorsport #65 and PRO-AM Racing #12 completed the top ten finishers.

Congratulations to all!

Shine Automotive were the latest recipients of the prestigious Dagenham Dustbin, while MilnAir Racing also claimed the race’s fastest lap with a time of 1m51.612s.
