Corft - Circuit Guide

18 September 2025

There’s just over one month until EnduroKA makes its debut at Croft, with the North Yorkshire circuit poised to host the penultimate meeting of the series’ 2025 season on Sunday 19 October.

Both the track and facilities at Croft have evolved over the years, with the circuit playing host to a number of notable racing formula, including being an ever-present on the British Touring Car Championship calendar since 1997.

Competitors won’t experience the same undulation as they did at Cadwell Park last time out, but Croft will still offer plenty in the way of thrills and challenge.

Clervaux kickstarts the 3.38km lap. This is a corner that can be attacked, allowing the driver to carry speed into the succeeding Hawthorn Bend. Hawthron is comprised of a slight left kink into a more testing right hand turn, that brings the driver round and into the next corner – Chicane.

Chicane is another that, with the right line, can be attacked. It’s important to remember that you’ll need to carry momentum through this section, as it leads directly onto the back straight where each driver will want as much speed as possible.

One of the most important and tricky corners awaits at the end of the straight, in the form of Tower Bend. Competitors will again want to maintain their speed, while having to nail the apex and exit to get back onto the throttle ahead of the Jim Clark Esses – which are similar to the Chicane in that it can be attacked well with the right racing line.

After another short straight and the right-handed jink for Barcroft, Sunny In and Sunny Out will challenge. A long and fast corner, finding the right braking point and apex can prove tricky, but also immensely satisfying when done correctly.

The remainder of the lap from this point remains technically demanding. The Complex is first up and features some quick changes in both speed and direction, providing plenty of opportunity to gain time on rivals.

Then Croft’s final corner offers a stern test. As its name suggests, Hairpin is slow and tight and should be treated with caution. Perfect the Hairpin and you’ll be accelerating quickly towards the start/finish line to round off a fast and frantic lap.
