Tom Ingram to race in EnduroKA at Donington Park 5 Hour

30 April 2026

Reigning British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Champion Tom Ingram will compete in the EnduroKA 5-hour race at Donington Park on Sunday 30 August.

Ingram enjoyed a standout 2025 campaign, securing seven race victories en route to his second BTCC title in the UK’s premier tin-top series. The Team VERTU driver returns to the BTCC grid in 2026, aiming to defend his crown.

In addition to this, the 32-year-old will also face a brand new challenge this year, when he swaps his Hyundai i30 N to get behind the wheel of an EnduroKA Mk1 Ford KA for the first time, taking on Donington Park for five hours of endurance fun.

EnduroKA provides a cost-effective platform for drivers to experience all the thrills of team endurance racing first-hand. Drivers of all levels of experience take to the grid, from those taking their first steps into the world of competitive motorsport, to 24 Hour of Le Mans winners, Formula 1 team bosses and now… a BTCC double Champion!

Ingram will be joining forces with LDR Performance Tuning for the event, racing alongside series regulars David Bywater and Daniel Welling.

Looking ahead to his debut, Ingram commented:

“I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into the EnduroKA 5 Hour at Donington.

The mighty Mk1 Ford KA might not have quite the same horsepower as the BTCC car but I know that the racing will be every bit as close and competitive, and that's what makes these one make endurance championships so brilliant. There's something really special about this level of endurance racing and I genuinely am really looking forward to it, the team work element of sharing a car through the highs and lows of a long race is completely different to what I do day to day in the BTCC, but I know that it’s going to be a great race, and, that I must fit in some pit stop practice!”

If you’re looking to join the grid at Donington Park, or at any other EnduroKA round, series-approved arrive and drive options and race entries can be found via the official series website - www.enduroka.co.uk.
