Round four of EnduroKA is upon us, with Donington Park set to host a brilliant day of racing on Sunday 30th August! The iconic Ford KA will be racing for five hours straight around a circuit that has a strong connection to EnduroKA, having hosted the first event for the series back in 2019. To make things even more special, we are delighted to welcome two-time BTCC Champion Tom Ingram to the grid!
Drivers can expect some seriously close racing, with cars potentially running two or even three-wide around the wide ex-F1 circuit. Maintaining momentum will be crucial, particularly through Coppice and the Roberts Chicane, before carrying that speed onto Donington’s longer straights. This will put the focus firmly on driver skill, race craft and consistency.
Amongst those to keep an eye on within the entries is Windgat Racing, who just a few years ago made a sensational effort to win from the back of the grid in what was an action-packed race. The team will be hoping a combination of luck and determination can help them repeat their previous Donington success!
Also entered is returning team SuKAru. After missing Anglesey last time out, the team will be keen to get stuck in and challenge towards the front of the field once again, with their unique livery sure to stand out on the grid. As previous EnduroKA race winners, there is certainly plenty of anticipation surrounding their return.
Of course, we can’t forget the #9 LDR Performance car, which will feature special guest driver Tom Ingram! The team will be excited to see how the two-time BTCC Champion stacks up in one of the most competitive and fun endurance series around!
Want to give it a go yourself? Don’t want the hassle of running your own car? We have a plethora of series-approved ‘arrive-and-drive’ options available here.
Last time out in EnduroKA, teams faced the momentous task of completing the Anglesey 24-hour race, where we are pleased to say all teams entered completed the full 24 hours despite some facing and overcoming potentially race-ending issues showing pure grit and determination!
#46 Milnair converted pole position into an overall victory in an impressive race, with the #333 Kahoona car scoring a well-deserved second place after initially falling down the field. A brilliantly consistent drive from #1 Burton Power saw the team round out the podium for the first time in an EnduroKA 24-hour race.
As ever, the Dagenham Dustbin will be up for grabs and is awarded for the best-presented KA. Teams will have to continue to think creatively when keeping their cars looking fresh and well presented, with many entries adorning some rather creative team names and liveries!
To capture all the action from EnduroKA’s Donington race, the event will be livestreamed via the MSVT Racing YouTube channel, offering a great chance to join the action whilst sharing the stream with friends, family, and sponsors. The livestream will also allow teams to keep up to date with the latest developments and on-track battles throughout the five-hour race.
Catch you all there!
