The third running of EnduroKA's 24-hour race saw the series return to Anglesey for its biggest event of the season! A competitive grid assembled to tackle 24 hours of racing around the demanding Trac Môn Coastal Circuit, with every team aiming to add their name to the growing list of winners of EnduroKA's flagship event.
Qualifying
The EnduroKA field headed out for two hours of qualifying on Friday evening, with teams balancing outright pace with strategy as every driver tried to gain valuable track time ahead of the 24-hour contest.
The #46 Milnair KA managed to the top a competitive timing screen ahead of the #333 KaHoona car, and the #23 Kaston Martin machine. #95 KA-Chow qualified fourth, just 1.034 seconds adrift from pole, while #22 AFK Kash Strapped Racing and the #65 Autotech Motorsport car completed the top six.
Race
Milnair made the perfect start to lead the field into the opening stint, with KaHoona maintaining second and Kaston Martin holding third. Behind them, the closely matched field settled into an early rhythm as teams focused on consistency and avoiding trouble through the opening hours.
By the four-hour mark, Milnair had managed to hold the lead despite constant pressure from Kaston Martin, who remained just eight tenths of a second behind even after the opening round of pitstops.
Autotech Motorsport were among the biggest climbers in the early running, with the #64 machine moving into third with the sister #65 car tucked in behind. The pair worked together superbly, running nose-to-tail as they closed in on the leaders. KaHoona had slipped to fifth but remained firmly within striking distance.
As darkness fell over Anglesey it was Milnair who continued to lead. Autotech Motorsport now occupied second and third, with the #65 car leading the sister #64 machine, while KaHoona ran in fourth ahead of the #1 Burton Power entry. With the field now settled into the overnight running, consistency and strategy began to play an increasingly important role in the order.
Milnair retained the lead at the halfway stage ahead of the #64 Autotech Motorsport machine, while KaHoona continued to climb to reclaim third place. Burton Power fourth, AFK Kash Strapped Racing fifth and the #65 Autotech Motorsport now sixth. The #2 NJM Racing team produced an excellent stint, climbing from 15th on the grid to seventh, with KA-Chow completing the top eight.
As morning daylight started to shine over the incredible Anglesey scenery, Milnair continued to lead the #64 Autotech Motorsport car, with KaHoona maintaining third.
Burton Power remained fourth, while the #65 Autotech Motorsport entry reclaimed fifth ahead of AFK Kash Strapped Racing. Despite sixteen hours of running, the battle throughout the top six remained closely contested.
With just four hours remaining, reliability became increasingly important.
KaHoona inherited second place, while Burton Power moved onto the final podium position. AFK Kash Strapped Racing held fourth, with the #64 and #65 Autotech Motorsport entries completing the top six as the focus turned to reaching the chequered flag.
After 24 hours of racing, the #46 Milnair team converted pole position into overall victory in an impressive race. The #333 KaHoona entry secured a well deserved second place after recovering from an early drop down the order, while the #1 Burton Power car completed the overall podium.
Further down the field, Project 29:7 and Scuderia Bowron both overcame significant setbacks to reach the finish. In a fitting conclusion to EnduroKA's flagship race, every competing car reached the chequered flag after 24 hours of hard-fought endurance racing.
