Sensational Sukaru at Snetterton!

Sensational Sukaru at Snetterton!

17 March 2026

Saturday 14 March saw the return of the much-loved EnduroKA.

Snetterton welcomed the series for an intriguing three hour race and the opening round of the 2026 season. After 67 laps of the Norfolk circuit, Sukaru’s duo of Alec Livesley and Adam Bessell claimed the first win of the new year, being joined on the podium by Ka Motion (Brett Virgin, Daniel Edwards and Paul Edwards) and MilnAir Racing (George Wright, Jack Wright and Declan McDonnell).

Qualifying

Ka Tastrophy’s Adam Bonham emerged the driver to beat in the early stages of qualifying. Once the first representative laps had been set, the #131 KA was firmly at the front. Bonham quickly bettered his lap time to post an even quicker benchmark, that stood at the top of the timing sheet for fifteen minutes.

It was at this point that a stellar lap time of 2m35.473s was posted by Sukaru’s Adam Bessell. Ultimately, no team could better Bessell’s lap and the first pole position of the year belonged to the #555 KA.

Ka Tastrophy’s pace secured the second spot on the front row, with KaHoona’s Race Team and Kaston Martin making up the second row. Windgat Racing, Autotech Motorsport #65, Ka Narge, Burton Power Racing, Ka Motion and Ka Bidge rounded out the top ten fastest qualifiers.

Race

Ka Tastrophy applied maximum pressure to Sukaru during the opening lap, but Sukaru defended well to maintain the lead. KaHoona’s Race Team held onto third, while Windgat Racing had managed to get the jump into fourth. There was overtaking aplenty through the early exchanges, including the likes of MilnAir Racing charging through the field.

Strong and consistent lap times, combined with close battling between their nearest rivals, enabled Sukaru to open up a buffer to the cars behind during the first hour. Almost nothing split KaHoona’s Race Team, Autotech Motorsport #65 and Windgat Racing for second place, while Ka Narge and Kaston Martin were having an equally exciting battle just behind.

When the race reached the one hour mark, teams had started to make their first stops. No Nonsense Racing, MCR and LDR Performance Tuning #49 had all enjoyed tremendous opening stints, while out front Autotech Motorsport #65 had a slender 0.265s lead over KaHoona’s Race Team.

It became clear through the midway stages of the race that there was a host of different strategies at play. With the order constantly changing, there were plenty of battles throughout the order to keep those watching on in Norfolk entertained.

At the two hour classification, Sukaru were back running at the head of the field. MilnAir Racing’s surge had led the #46 KA to second place, ahead of Ka Narge, Autotech Motorsport #65 and Ka Motion. KnF Racing were now running in the top ten, along with No Nonsense Racing.

As the final hour ticked by, Sukaru continued to not put a foot wrong up front. When the checkered flag fell, the #555 KA had amassed an impressive 42.149s gap to their nearest rival, claiming the first top step of the year!

Ka Motion fended off MilnAir Racing’s advances to finish in second. Both teams should be proud of their efforts, kickstarting their seasons with podium trophies and only 6.073s between them.

Autotech Motorsport #65 narrowly missed out on the podium in fourth, as: Windgat Racing, Ka Narge, Kaston Martin, Burton Power Racing, No Nonsense Racing and Autotech Motorsport #64 rounded out the top ten finishers.

Ka Tastrophy set the fastest lap of the race with a time of 2m34.320s, while the honour of the first Dagenham Dustbin of 2026 belonged to Kaston Martin.

Congratulations to all!

The series next takes to the track at KAdwell Park on Sunday 10 May, with entries open.

See you there!
