Cadwell Park - Event Report

12 May 2026

Cadwell Park’s demanding twists, blind crests and elevation changes provided the perfect setting for round two of the EnduroKA season, with the six-hour contest delivering a true test of consistency, teamwork and endurance.

Qualifying was fiercely competitive throughout the field, with Ka Tastrophy’s Simon and Adam Bonham producing a superb 1:54.336 lap to secure pole position in their Ford KA. MilnAir Racing came closest, just 0.382 seconds adrift thanks to the combined efforts of George Wright, Jack Wright and Jonny Milner, while Windgat Racing completed the top three with Leon Bidgway and Mike Marais. The top half of the grid remained incredibly close, with Autotech Motorsport, Kaston Martin and Ka Bidge all within little more than a second of pole, highlighting just how competitive the EnduroKA field has become.

The tight margins underlined the competitiveness of the 2026 grid and hinted at the close racing to come once the six-hour contest got underway.

As the race began, the front of the field quickly became locked in a multi-car battle between Ka Tastrophy, MilnAir Racing, Windgat Racing and Ka Motion. The opening hour saw strategies begin to diverge. Some teams elected to short-fill during pit stops to gain track position, while others focused on consistency and fuel efficiency. By the end of the first hour, Windgat Racing had moved to the front after a composed opening stint. Ka Motion sat less than a second behind in second place, while Ka Bridge and MilnAir Racing remained firmly in contention. Further back, several teams quietly established themselves in the leading group through consistent pace, including Chickspeed Motorsport, and GM Performance.

As the race moved into its second hour, Ka Motion continued to build momentum. Starting eighth on the grid, the team steadily climbed the order through a combination of strong pace and efficient stops. MilnAir Racing remained one of the quickest teams on circuit and consistently featuring at the sharp end, leading the pack over as the second hour closed out.

The middle stages of the race produced some of the most dramatic moments of the afternoon. Ka Motion, Windgat Racing, MilnAir Racing and Ka Tastrophy all spent time either leading outright or sitting in effective contention as pit cycles reshuffled the order.

By half distance, the complexion of the race had changed once again, with Autotech Motorsport’s #64 machine quietly emerged as a serious podium contender thanks to consistent pace and clean execution. Ka Bridge, Windgat Racing and Chickspeed Motorsport all spent extended periods inside the leading group and remained within touching distance as the race entered its final stages.

Further down the field, teams such as Fenaro Motorsport, KnF Racing and Skarsky and Clutch produced impressive endurance performances by staying out of trouble and steadily climbing the order over the course of the afternoon.

Heading into the closing stages, the race remained wide open. MilnAir Racing’s consistency across the full six hours proved decisive in the final phase of the race. But the leaders were coming under increased pressure from the Kaston Martin who were closing in quickly. One last push was enough though, as a higher paced last lap saw MilnAir take the win, ahead of Kaston Martin , and Ka Tastrophy rounding out the podium in third, securing a well-earned podium finish after battling back through the field.

With two rounds complete, the next stop for the series is Anglesey and the Ynys Mon 24 on 1 & 2 August.

See you there!
